It’s why African people need to stop calling each other and identifying with a color. We are all “African” - not African American, Jamaican, Haitian, Ethiopian, etc.; just African. Every other group of people know what continent they are from. Why only African people in the so-called diaspora can’t identify with the continent of Africa??
No other group of people associates with their race with a color. Asian don’t call themselves "yellow. " They call themselves “Asian.”
In my opinion, African people need to figure out who they are and what they want to be called and insist on it. All the other problem need to be approached afterwards. Got to tackle the simple stuff before moving on to bigger things. Fighting discrimination from others and we discriminate among ourselves. It’s funny and sad at the same time.
